About Robofest
JHU Robotics faculty, students, postdocs, staff, their significant others, and children are invited to the annual JHU Robotics Picnic at Patapsco Valley State Park. (Note that this is different from where we have held it in previous years, Oregon Ridge Park.) We will have a covered area with grills and electricity and room to play sports.
Location
Patapsco Valley State Park, Pickall Area (Shelter #706B)
Please arrange rides with your friends/labmates. Driving time from campus is approximately 25 minutes.
Driving directions: From the Beltway (I-695) take Security Blvd. (Exit 17) westbound. Go 0.5 mile and turn left on North Rolling Rd. Take next right (Fairbrook Rd.). Go 1 mile, turn left on Johnnycake Rd. Go 1.5 miles. Park Entrance is on the left.

What to Bring
We will provide basic food (hamburgers, veggie burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs etc.) and drinks (sodas, water, and beer) but please bring along anything else you'd like to share. Particular suggestions include dessert, salads and side dishes. Outdoor games and toys are highly encouraged!
Unfortunately, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Since the picnic is in a reservation-only area of the park, the park officials request that visitors bring a confirmation voucher: Patapsco Voucher. Allison will bring this, as she plans to be the first to arrive, but anyone planning on arriving early may also wish to print out a copy and bring it.
